DADU, June 9: A motorcyclist lost his life and his colleague received injuries while resisting robbery attempt near Mehar on Thursday.

Gulsher Mallah and Sudhir Mallah were on way to Mehar. When they reached Bandhi bus stop, three armed men tried to deprive them of their motorcycle and valuables.

The armed men opened fire on them, killing Gulsher on the spot and injuring Sudhir. The attackers escaped with motorcycle and cash.

A large number of relatives of deceased arrived at the spot, put the body on road and demonstrated.

Talking to reporters brother of the deceased Ali Sher demanded arrest of killers.

They ended their protest on an assurance by police which removed the body to taluka hospital for autopsy.
