FAISALABAD, June 6: A 17-year-old youth was gunned down for resisting robbers in a robbery bid in Chak 36-GB, Sattiana, late on Sunday, police said.
Five armed robbers stormed into the house of Amin and held the family hostage, police quoted the family as saying. The family raised an alarm that angered the robbers who opened fire.
One bullet hit Danish who was asleep on the roof top of the house and he died instantly. The bandits also thrashed Amin and fled. Police are investigating the issue with no arrest.
