Six injured as rivals open fire

RAWALPINDI, Oct 23: Six persons were injured on Wednesday after their rivals opened fire on them and set two vehicles ablaze in Sadiqabad area.

According to the police, the incident occurred when Raja Masood alongwith some men arrived at Iqbal Town to see a plot which, he claimed, had been demarcated by a Tehsildar a few days ago.

Raja Masood told the police that he and some other persons, including Maj Anis Sultan (retired), reached Iqbal Town in two cars. When they arrived at the plot, their rivals opened fire on them, as a result of which six persons were injured.
