PESHAWAR, Oct 23: The chief of his won faction of the PPP, Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao, and the secretary-general of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, held a meeting to discuss the prevailing political situation.

They exchanged views on the formation of governments at the Centre and in the provinces.

They also discussed issues relating to restoration of the 1973 Constitution, foreign policy and the law and order situation.

They agreed that all political parties should come up with a joint approach to handle the situation.—APP
