PESHAWAR, Oct 22: NWFP Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah on Tuesday called on the prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan, at the Prime Minister’s House in Muzafarabad.

The governor, who was on a day-long visit to perform earth-breaking ceremony of Garhi Habibullah-Barar Kot road, the only land route between NWFP and Azad Kashmir, remained with the prime minister for some time and discussed various matters of mutual interest, said an official statement.

Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan, while welcoming the governor on this occasion, thanked him for his personal interest, especially in the construction of the road.
