KARACHI, May 19: A young man was found shot dead in the Mewa Shah graveyard on Thursday, the area police said.

They said 28-year-old Sabir Ahmed was a drug addict and used to sit with friends in the graveyard daily after sunset.

“The family told us that the victim was a drug addict and most of the day he remained away from home,” said Sub-Inspector Saleem Sherwani, the SHO of the Pak Colony police station.

“A few friends at night came to the victim’s family living in Jahanabad to inform them about Sabir’s death. The friends said that they found the body lying in a pool of blood.”
