RAWALPINDI, May 18: A woman was allegedly abducted, detained in a house and raped for three days by two men in Chamanabad (R.A. Bazaar), police said on Wednesday.

The victim, a mother of three children, was returning home after attending a marriage ceremony when two youth took her snaps on their mobile phones and started blackmailing her.

Later, one of the accused blocked her way while she was going to fetch water from a nearby well and showed her the pictures to terrify her. He also told her that his friend wanted to marry her but she refused saying that she was already married with three children.

The husband of the victim, in his complaint, said his wife was at home when the two boys came there in his absence and called her out saying that they would burn the pictures in front of her.

He said as she came out, they dragged her into a taxi already parked in the street and took her to an unknown place.

“At first I thought my wife had gone to her parents' house, but when I checked with them she wasn't there. I then started to search for her and when I failed to trace her I reported the matter to the police,” the husband said. After three days the woman returned home on Tuesday night and narrated her ordeal.

The victim told the police that she was taken to a house by the culprits, who had been blackmailing her for the last one month, where they raped her for three days. She said she did not inform her husband about the boys who were blackmailing her out of fear.

The police have sent her to a hospital for medical examination before launching a hunt for the accused.— Staff Reporter
