ISLAMABAD, Oct 20: Maulana Fazlur Rehman will be the new prime minister and no government will be formed without Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) as the masses had voted the alliance for the supremacy of the Quran and Sunnat.

This was stated by MNA-elect Mian Mohammad Aslam while speaking at a reception hosted in his honour by his supporters at Sitara Market on Sunday.

After the MMA forms government, people will see that their problems are being resolved and the system of exploitation and oppression being routed out, he added.

He announced that he would set up a secretariat for resolving the civic problems of the public. He said after being elected as the MNA, he was now a representative of the entire city regardless of the party affiliations of the citizens. He said members of the alliance would rise above party affiliations and serve all citizens with devotion and dedication.

The MNA-elect said he had already started resolving individual problems of the citizens.

He further said after taking oath as the member of the parliament, he would raise a strong voice for resolution of the collective problems faced by the masses.

He said the people had voted his alliance after full consideration and thought on the pros and cons of the matter.
