HYDERABAD, Oct 20: Nazim, union council-5, Hyderabad, Dilsahd Khan, has opposed shifting of the Zuberi College of Home Economics from Tilak Charhi to Qasimabad.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said that the Zuberi college was the only institution of Home Economics in Hyderabad and its shifting to Qasimabad would create problems for the girl students of the city.

He said that the students had to pay more fees for Home Economics education then the students of other educational institutions and their financial burden would increase if the college was shifted to Qasimabad.

The Nazim added that shifting of the Sardar Bahadur College was based on malafide intentions because a conspiracy has been hatched to construct a commercial centre on the vacated premises.

He demanded that the shifting of the Zuberi college should be immediately stopped.
