QUETTA, May 1: A journalist and an official of the provincial information department were injured in an armed attack in Turbat town on Sunday, sources said.
Aslam Jehangir, who works for ARY News channel, and Abdul Wahid Baloch, who is associated with the directorate of public relations, were on their way home when unidentified men riding a motorcycle opened fire on them.
Both Mr Jehangir and Mr Baloch were injured. Police shifted the two to the district hospital.
