HYDERABAD, April 17: Two transvestites, an elderly man and his son and a woman were killed in three different incidents here on Saturday night and Sunday.

Makki Shah police found the bodies of transvestites Faqir Ali alias Kali, 32, and Waseem, 28, from a house in Brohi Para.

The throat of Faqir Ali had been silt and Waseem had been strangulated. No FIR has been registered.

Eighty-year-old Hussain Bux Chandio and his son Mukhtiar, 35, were shot dead allegedly by their relatives in Aliabad reportedly because of a family dispute.

Sajjad Chandio, son of Hussain Bux, has lodged a case against Maula Bux, Abdul Latif, Sain Bux, Bukhshal, Ahmed Khan and Altaf with the Hatri police. The accused are said to be residents of Mehar.

Shaheen Jokhio, a mother of four, was killed allegedly by her husband Nadir Jokhio in Ghummanabad on suspicion that she had illicit relations with another man.

The woman, who had been hit by blunt weapons, was taken to Civil Hospital where she died.

The husband is reported to have run away.

Police found the body of Gulzar Ali Shah, 40, an employee of Jamshoro Thermal Powerhouse, in a flat in a plaza in the Pinyari area. He had been hit with an iron rod.
