A meeting of the central executive council of the alliance, presided over by Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi, a former caretaker prime minister, decided to elect Sardar Leghari as the parliamentary leader. The meeting was held at the secretariat of Millat Party.

However, the final announcement would be made after seeking the approval of the parliamentary members of the alliance, the source said.
