RAWALPINDI, April 15: A medical representative was arrested recently for supplying fake chemicals to the laboratory of a government-run hospital. The arrested representative told the investigators that he used to supply fake chemicals to the laboratory of the hospital with the support of some doctors and administration members at the hospital.

According to the sources, the representative of Pharmalink Medical Company revealed during the investigation that since the chemicals were fake, and used to preserve the specimen in laboratory, the diagnostic tests at Holy Family Hospital (HFH) laboratory could not give accurate results and the patients had to rely on private laboratory.
