MULTAN, April 14: Activists of the Muttahida Shehri Mahaz on Thursday demonstrated at Chungi No 9 against drone attacks and described it as a failure of the government to protect the lives and properties of its people.

Addressing the protesters, Mahaz president Tariq Naeemullah said that tribesmen were the patriotic people but they were being targeted for no faults of theirs.

He said the government should ensure the protection of its people and the US government should be asked to halt drone attacks or else the people across the country would take to the street against the rulers.

CNG STATIONS: The CNG stations remained closed for the second consecutive day on Thursday, causing inconveniences to the masses.

Long queues of consumers were seen at a few CNG stations which remained opened.
