KARACHI, April 11: The league matches of the 9th AKU Inter-University Football Tournament concluded with Institute of Business Management (IoBM) and PAF-KIET winning their respective encounters at the AKU Football Ground here on Monday.

IoBM edged out Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) 3-2.

Osama Ashaqeen (14th min), Imran Imtiaz (25th min) and Irfan Junejo (46th min) scored for the winners while Babur Khan (21st min) and Waheed Ahmed (37th min) got the goals for the losing side.

PAF-KIET beat Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) 2-0.

The goals were scored by Tahir Jawad (35th min) and Malik Umair (60th min).

This completes the eight-team line-up for the quarter-finals the draws for which are:

NED University of Engineering and Technology v PNEC-NUST; Hamdard University v PAF-KIET, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology v Aga Khan University; Balochistan University of Information Technology Engineering & Management Sciences v Institute of Business Administration.
