KARACHI, March 25: The Seniors' world ranking tennis championship, a category five event of the ITF, gets into action at Karachi Gymkhana synthetic courts from Monday.

The details of the weeklong event were announced by organisers, the Pakistan Seniors' Tennis Association, in a press briefing held at Karachi Gymkhana the other day.

Veterans, including some foreigners who are residing here, will vie for honours in 45 plus singles and doubles, 55 plus singles and doubles and 60 plus doubles.

Last date for submission of the entries is March 27 while the draws will be taken out the same evening.
