ATTOCK, March 16: The city police registered a case against the medical officer of DHQ hospital on the complaint of in charge Radiology Department of the same hospital for sending him harassing and obnoxious SMS.

Earlier, In Charge Radiology Department Dr Muhammad Ali Shah filed a petition in the court of additional district and sessions judge against the city police for showing reluctance in registering a case against the said MO for sending him obnoxious and threatening SMS.

The court had fixed March 14 for the hearing of the petition as the SHO city police station had been directed to submit report in the court in this regard. However, the city police registered the case against the MO before the hearing to avoid any legal action while the accused MO succeeded in obtaining bail before arrest.
