“Falling Fables” by artist Reena Saini Kallat, part of a series of works whose title references architectural ruins that are disintegrating and in a state of collapse. The surface of the fallen pillar consists of rubberstamps bearing the addresses of missing monuments 
listed as protected sites under the Archeological Survey of India, dispersed among others that that carry fragments of poems and phrases on architecture and loss.

The India Festival dubbed as" Maximum India” opens at Kennedy Centre at Washington stretching from March 1-20, showcasing arts from the subcontinent's diverse traditions. Featuring Indian music, performances from Indian classical dance to Modern Cinema, theatre, literature and art Exhibitions.
