RAWALPINDI, Feb 5: A man was found dead in his rickshaw on Tipu Road here on Saturday. The driver was later identified as Noor Khan, resident of Chah Sultan, sources at the Airport police station said.

Mohammad Asif, Noor Khan’s son, told the police that his father left his home on Friday morning but did not return in the evening.

He said he along with other members of the family kept on searching for him all through the night. It was on Saturday morning they learnt that the body of his father was found on Tipu Road.

According to the police, Noor Khan was strangled but his son had not named anybody in the FIR. In another incident, a man committed suicide in Saddar Bairooni area by hanging himself with the ceiling fan of his room on Girja Road.

Mohammad Safeer, 28, had married five months ago. According to the police, he had been upset over domestic issues.
