QUETTA: Five people, a woman among them, were shot dead by gunmen in two separate incidents in Quetta and Musakhail areas on Friday. Police sources said that two rival groups of Mohammad Hasni tribe exchanged fire in Mian Ghundi, a locality on the outskirts of Quetta, leaving three people dead.

The sources said the cause of the clash was an old enmity between the two groups.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the killings.

In another incident, two people identified as Rozan and Khasho were gunned down by armed men in Musakhail area.

Levies Force sources said that two people riding a motorcycle opened fire on the victims, killing the two on the spot.

The motive of the killing could not be ascertained. Police were investigating the incident.
