QUETTA, Oct 5: One person was killed in Bagh Tale area of Usta Mohammad subdivision on Saturday when police opened fire on a car involved in firing at a People’s Party Parliamentarian election rally, sources said.

PPP candidate for NA-266, Munawar Khosa, was speaking at a rally when two persons in a car fired shots towards the gathering and dispersed it.

The policemen present on the occasion opened fire on the car killing one person, Bahadar KHan, on the spot.

The other assailant escaped.

Balochistan PPP President Javed Ahmed, speaking at a press conference, blamed Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-i-Azam) for the firing.
