Brain of Lahore!

LAHORE, Jan 29: Saifur Rehman of the Society Public School, Mughalpura, has won the “Brain of Lahore 2011” inter-school quiz competition arranged by the Punjab Education Foundation at the Trust School, Harbanspura, on Saturday.

A total of 236 schools took part in the competition, says a handout.

Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan asked the students to emerge as nation-builders and change the destiny of the country by learning new skills and knowledge in keeping with the demand of the day.

The winners of “Brain of Lahore 2011” and “Brain of Kasur 2011” were awarded Rs20,000 each.
