KARACHI: Inam elected SHCBA president

KARACHI, Nov 12: Justice Abul Inam (retd) was elected president of the Sindh High Court Bar Association defeating his rival, Mahtab Ahmed, by a margin of 553 votes in elections held on Saturday.

He secured 616 votes as against 63 by the defeated candidate.

According to the results announced by the election commissioner, Khalid Javed was elected honorary secretary, K. A. Wahab vice president and M. A. Qadri treasurer. Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi was elected joint secretary, unopposed. — APP
