The National Organisation of Postal Employees (Nope) staged a protest rally outside the press club on Thursday against the proposed privatisation of the Pakistan Post Office Department. “The government should withdraw its decision, otherwise the postal employees will continue their protest across the country,” Nope's Lahore office secretary Najamuddin said. He said the Nope was also planning to observe a wheel-jam strike in case the government refused to accept their demands.
