Anwar Pirzado, who passed away on January 10 three years ago, is missed by his admirers as a creative writer, journalist poet and humanist.

Anwar remained associated with a galaxy of Sindh-based intellectuals and academic associations. He was a progressive and prolific writer, researcher and a multi-faceted personality.

He wrote several masterpieces in Sindhi language and literature. He was a disciple of the poet and philosopher Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.

He did tremendous research work on his famous 'Shah Jo Risalo' - its message and meaning.

Anwar's weekly contribution titled, “Sindh Scenario” — a review of the Sindhi press — to this newspaper is still missed by the literary world.

Late Makhdoom Muhammad Zaman Talib-ul-Mola was a renowned scholar, poet, spiritual leader of the famous Sarwari Jamaat who also passed away on January 11.

Late Anwar Pirzado and Makhdoom Talibul Mola believed that humanity was above all beliefs and spiritual development is not possible without creating a spirit of universal peace and tolerance.

Both legends have left a great legacy of literature, language, which make Sindh proud. Both were great traditionalists and humanists.

The best tribute to these legends of Sindhi language will be to get their unpublished books published.
