Tennis draws

KARACHI, Jan 10: After sponsoring several national events across the country, Subh-e-Nau has decided to regularly play host to local events in the city.

The men’s singles draws for the first tennis championship were taken out at the CDGK Sports Complex, venue for the event, on Monday. Earlier the event was supposed to begin from Jan 8 but was delayed due to law and order situation.

As a first step, men’s singles, ladies singles and juniors’ under-14 singles matches will take place in the three-day event which carries handsome cash prizes.

The draws of the other two categories would be taken out on Tuesday at 3pm. Players who are interested have been asked to submit their entries at the SN office or at the venue by 2.00pm on Tuesday.
