Misbah slams century against West Indies

COLOMBO, Sept 28: Misbah-ul-Haq warmed for next week’s first Test against Australia with an undefeated 129 on the second day of the three-day practice match against West Indies at Police Park Ground Saturday.

Pakistan declared their first innings in this non-first-class fixture at 248 for nine. Misbah’s 180-ball knock contained 22 fours and one six.

West Indies, who are preparing for the tour of India next month, were 46 for two in their second innings. They made 300 in their first essay after winning the toss Friday.
