“The event has been postponed due to the football competition of 31st National Games which will be played from 25-29 December in Islamabad,” PFF Secretary Ahmed Yar Lodhi said.

LAHORE: The inaugural National Futsal Championship which was to be played from December 21 in Islamabad has been postponed, a Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) statement said on Saturday.

“The event has been postponed due to the football competition of 31st National Games which will be played from 25-29 December in Islamabad,” PFF Ahmed Yar Lodhi said.

The revised dates will be announced later.

The futsal championship is proposed to be an annual event, which according to the PFF Futsal Committee will give a proper platform to an already popular version of football.
