ISLAMABAD, Sept 27: A 12-member Finland Trade Promotion Mission led by Ambassador Tarja Laitiainen, on Friday discussed in detail with the secretary, BoI, Shuja Shah the possibilities of participation in new investment avenues in various re-construction projects of Afghanistan.

The delegation comprises leading businessmen and senior officials of trade bodies also showed their interest in joint venture with Pakistani businessmen.

They also discussed possibilities of joint investment in various projects in Afghanistan in different sectors including education, environment & natural resources, health, social service, agriculture & forestry, rock & mineral processing industry, trade, energy, electrification, logistics and water development.

The secretary, BoI, briefly highlighted investment opportunities available in Pakistan in various sectors.
