LAHORE, Dec 13: The meetings of Pakistan Hockey Federation's Executive Board and Congress will be held here on Dec 28 to take decisions regarding new national selection committee, team management, annual budget and next year's activities.

First, the members will hold the 18th session of the Executive Board in the morning and then the Congress will meet in the noon.

It is most likely that the PHF will revamp its selection committee and team management after considering their performance. A good number of changes are expected in both the wings.

After being revamped, the new selection committee will take a decision regarding retaining or dropping senior players for the 2012 Olympics.

The selection of penalty-corner specialist Sohail Abbas, Mohammad Waseem and Rehan Butt is in question due to being overage.

The PHF think-tank believes the decision about the senior players is a crucial one.

PHF secretary Asif Bajwa will present the report of the year 2010.

Executive Board members:

PHF president Qasim Zia; vice presidents Nawab Lashkari Raisani, Saeed Khan, Barrister Shahida Jamil; secretary general Bajwa; associate secretary Rana Mujahid Ali; treasurer Khalid Rasool; all secretaries of the provincial associations; women's wing head Khushbakht Shujat; three technocrats (Olympian Manzoor Jr, Asad Malik and Col Zafar Ahmad Zafri); Fateh Mohammad (Customs) and Iqtidar Naseem (Army).
