KARACHI, Dec 6: Sukkur and Karachi beat their opponents by big margins to reach the final of the NBP Inter-regional Women Hockey Championship at the Hockey Club of Pakistan (HCP) on Monday.

Zakia Gul scored a hat-trick in the shape of five goals to enable Sukkur to thrash Larkana 8-0. She scored in the fifth, 21st, 27th, 40th and 41st minutes with Sanam Yousuf getting two in the 10th and 28th minutes and Rozina Jakhrani adding one more in the 13th.

A complete team effort saw Karachi beating Hyderabad in the second semi-final. The goals for the winners were scored by Madiha Manzoor (sixth min), Ambreen Abdullah (ninth min), Uzma Lal (41st min), Anila Khan (45th min), Fatima Kiran (51st min) and Asiya Khan (55th min).

The final will be played at 11.00am on Tuesday.
