KARACHI, Nov 29: A young activist of the Pakistan People’s Party was shot dead in Baldia Town on Monday, police said.

They added that 29-year-old Abrar was targeted while having tea with friends at a teashop in Sector 19-D on Monday night.

“While having tea with his friends, Abrar received a call on his cellphone and went outside the teashop to speak to the caller,” said Sub-Inspector Nasir Sami, the SHO of the Saeedabad police station. “As soon as he came out of the teashop, two men riding a motorcycle stopped near him. One of them got off the two-wheeler and fired multiple shots at Abrar.”
