Two killed

SHIKARPUR, Nov 28: Two men were killed and seven others injured in a clash in Old Laliyoon village near here on Sunday.

An exchange of fire between Gulsher Brohi and Khurasan Brohi during an event of cock fighting led to the death of Khurasan and his nephew Jahan Sher. Seven others gathered there were injured.

No FIR was registered till late Sunday evening. Our staff correspondent adds from Hyderabad

: The body of a man was found in a ground in the Cantonment area on late Saturday night.

According to Bhitai Nagar police, Sultan Hassan, 46, was shot in the head and his body bore torture marks.

The body was taken to the civil hospital for post-mortem.

Police contacted a relative of the deceased in Karachi who refused to receive the body which was handed over to a distant relative, Mohammad Faheem Abbasi.

Abbasi told Dawn that Sultan was unmarried and had severed relations with his family and relatives. He worked at a bus stand and lived there.
