Parents seek release of son

ABBOTTABAD, Sept 23: Parents of a boy who was taken into custody by police have demanded early release of their son.

Speaking at a press conference here on Sunday, Mir Hussain and his wife Sikandar Jan said their son, Shezad, was taken away by unidentified people on Aug 5 from their house in Gandiyal village, Bandi Mera Galyat.

Giving details of the incident, they said on the night of Aug 5, six people came to their house. Three of them were wearing police uniform. They forcibly took with them their son Shezad in connection with the murder of Riaz.

Sikandar Jan said next day she contacted the moharrar of Bagnother Police Station who confirmed the presence of her son. However, till date her son had not been released.

She demanded of the police high ups to order release of her son. The parents had also lodged an FIR with Bagnother Police Station for the alleged kidnapping /abduction of their son.
