UN official’s car damaged in accident

SIALKOT, Sept 19: The car of UNO’s Lahore office deputy secretary was damaged in a road accident on main Sialkot-Daska road near Aadha village on Thursday.

Miss Elizabeth was on her way to Sialkot when a car driven by EPB’s deputy director Ayaz Mahmood collided with her four-wheeler. Mr Mahmood sustained serious injuries while Miss Elizabeth and her driver sustained minor wounds. The car of the UNO official was badly damaged in the accident.

The car being driven by the EPB man belonged to a local exporter, A.D. Manzoor.

Meanwhile, during her visit to Sialkot, Miss Elizabeth called on district Nazim Naeem Javaid and other politicians, including PML-N’s Khwaja Asif, PPP city president Zahid Bashir and PML-QA’s Ali Asjad Malhi.
