NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Sept 18: A Jirga decided on Wednesday to hand over a girl, an acre of agricultural land and Rs10,000 in cash in a murder case in Halani.
Naban Solangi was murdered some time ago by his relatives, Mohammad Mithal, Sawan and Hadi Bux Solangi.
The Jirga, comprising former ambassador Syed Manzoor Ali Shah, Dr Dawood Solangi and Nazar Mohammad, was held to decide the issue.
According to the Jirga’s decision, the two accused — Mohammad Mithal, and his son, Hadi Bux — will give an acre of agriculture land and Rs10,000 cash to the sons of the deceased Naban Solangi.
Sawan will give his daughter’s hand to the son of the deceased. Both the parties had agreed upon the terms set by the
Jirga.
