HYDERABAD: Four people were injured and railway services suspended on Monday when two explosions struck a train track in Hyderabad.

The blasts damaged almost two feet of railway lines near Qasimabad residential area between Kotri and Hyderabad, police said.

Police personnel along with a bomb disposal squad reached the site immediately.

An official of Pakistan Railways said that the tracks were being repaired by the railways staff.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blasts as yet.

It was reported that railway traffic was also disrupted for several hours.
