ISLAMABAD: Pakistan hockey squad’s training camp for the forthcoming Asian Games started at the Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium here on Monday with 23 players reporting on the first day.

The camp was managed by assistant coach Ahmed Alam on the opening day as the Dutch coach, Michael van den Heuvel, was yet to join it. Left half Waseem Ahmad and goalkeeper Salman Akbar could not make on the first day due to personal reasons.
