COLOMBO, Sept 14: New Zealand cricket captain Stephen Fleming has signed up to lead the Rest of the World against The Brits in the two-match Power Cricket series at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium next month.

Skipper Fleming, 29, is currently with his team-mates waiting to take part in the Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka.

Fleming, recently described by Aussie ace spinner Shane Warne as the `best international captain around’ faces England skipper Nasser Hussain, who leads The Brits, in the event which features more than 20 of cricket’s biggest names.

Each limited-overs match, to be played on Oct 4 and Oct 5, will be staged under floodlights on an artificial `magic carpet’ pitch. Sky Sports Television is broadcasting both games live.
