LAHORE: Contestants on major seats

LAHORE, Sept 14: The PML-QA, the PML-N and the Muttahida Majlis-i-Aml are the major contestants on the Lahore seats.

PML-QA President Mian Muhammad Azhar is contesting from NA 118 against MMA’s Hafiz Salman Butt and PPP’s C.A. Qadir.

PPP Secretary-General Jehangir Badar is a candidate from NA 119 against Punjab PML-N Secretary-General Khwaja Saad Rafiq and PML-QA’s Mian Abdus Sattar.

PPP’s Altaf Qureshi is facing Pervaiz Malik of the PML-N and Mian Muhammad Ashraf of the PML-QA on NA-120.

PML-QA’s Mian Jehangir, MMA’s Farid Paracha and PPP’s Aurangzeb Burki are contesting on NA-121.

PML-QA’s Chaudhry Amin faces Chaudhry Ghulam Qadir of PPP and Sardar Ayaz Sadiq of PML-N on NA-122.

PML-N acting president Javed Hashmi is a candidate on NA-123 where his challengers are PML-QA’s Mian Abdul Waheed and PPP’s Tariq Waheed Butt.

PPP’s Aitzaz Ahsan is contesting on NA-124 against PML-QA’s Khurram Rohail.

PML-QA’s Humayun Akhtar Khan challenges PML-N’s Akram Zaki and PPP’s Naveed Chaudhry on NA-125.

On NA-126 the contest is among PPP’s Fakhr Zaman, MMA’s Liaquat Baloch and PML-QA’s Tariq Banday.

PPP’s Prof Ijazul Hasan, PML-QA’s Abdul Aleem Khan and PML-N’s Naseer Bhutta are contesting on NA-127.

On NA-128 the electoral bout is among PML-QA’s Wazir Ali Bhatty, PPP’s Malik Zaheer Abbas and PML-N’s Sardar Kamil Omer.

Dr Zahid Akram Butt of the PPP, Sardar Arif Rashid of the PML-N and Maj Habibullah Waraich (retired) of the PML-QA will be facing one another on NA-129.

Ijaz Dyal of the PML-QA and Samina Khalid Ghurki of the PPP will be fighting against each other on NA-130.
