KARACHI, Sept 10: One political activist was killed and two others were injured, one of them seriously, in a firing incident over a political dispute in Central Muslimabad late Tuesday night.

All of them belonged to the Pakistan People’s Party (SB). They had gone to the neighbouring area near Rexers Lane to hoist the party flags over which a dispute erupted and they were fired at.

The firing left Jawad, in his mid-20s, dead, while Altaf and Mohammad Usman were injured, the latter seriously. The injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital where Usman was rushed to the operation theatre.

Pak Colony Police, however, maintained that only two people had been injured and they were shifted to the Civil Hospital.
