Pakistan to tour England

KARACHI, Sept 10: Pakistan will play three one-day internationals in England next year in June.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Tuesday forwarded the itinerary of the matches to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The first one-day international will be played on June 17 at Old Trafford, the second at The Oval on June 20 and the last at Lord’s on June 22.

Pakistan is expected to gear up for the England series by first appearing in a tri-nation one-day tournament in Tangiers, Morocco. The PCB has signed a three-year contract with Cricketers Benefit Fund Series (CBFS) to play in its organized competitions.

Pakistan also appeared in a tri-nation one-day tournament in England in 2001 where it finished as losing finalists to Australia.

Pakistan has a full tour to England in 2004.
