Kournikova wows Chinese fans

SHANGHAI, Sept 9: Anna Kournikova did not disappoint Chinese fans on her first day of play here, winning her first round doubles match with Taiwan partner Janet Lee against sister team Adriana and Antonella Serra Zanetti Monday.

After an uncertain start that saw the blonde Russian starlet make several unforced errors, the Kournikova-Lee team outgunned the Italian Zanetti sisters, winning 4-6, 6-2, 6-1
