LAHORE, Sept 9: Punjab PPP President Qasim Zia and Information Secretary Naveed Chaudhry called on ARD President Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan on Monday to discuss with him seat adjustments among various components of the alliance, specially the PPP and the PML-N.

The Nawabzada wants that the ARD parties should cooperate with one another, and should not involve themselves in mud-slinging even if adjustments are not made.

Leaders of the PPP and the PML-N were due to meet late Monday night to explore the possibility of adjustments.

The Punjab and Lahore organizations of the ARD are due to meet here on Tuesday to discuss arrangements for the Sept 15 public meeting to be held at the Minar-i-Pakistan lawns. —Staff Reporter
