Published September 5, 2002

LAHORE, Sept 4: District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood has said the Nazimeen would provide political guidance to the people during the general election.

At a meeting held at the residence of Quaid-i-Azam Muslim League leader, former MNA Mian Muhammad Munir, the Nazim said Nazimeen would help the voters distinguish between the good and the bad so that they could vote for the right kind of candidates during the election. He said Mian Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto had deserted their followers. The followers of Benazir were particularly perturbed over her announcement that she would not return to the country, he added.
