MANSEHRA, Sept 3: The returning officers for different constituencies of the national and provincial assemblies rejected the nomination papers of four candidates on different grounds.

The returning officer for NA-20, Mansehra-I, rejected the papers of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf candidate Navid Akhtar Khan for not fulfilling the condition of proposer and seconder of the nominations, and of the Jaimiat Ulema-i-Insaf (F) candidate, Syed Hidayatullah Shah, for not fulfilling the graduation condition.

The former provincial minister and Pakistan Muslim League (QA) candidate for PF-57, Mansehra-V, Sakhi Mohammad Tanooli, suffered a setback as his certificate from a Madrassah was declared fake and his nomination papers were rejected.

The returning officer for PF-58, Mansehra-VI (tribal belt of Kala Dhaka), rejected the nomination papers of ANP candidate Nimroze Khan on the ground that he had not completed the two years statutory period after retirement from government service.
