HYDERABAD, Sept 1: The PTCL has issued a list of 17 of its defaulters who have filed nomination papers for different national and provincial assembly seats.

An official announcement of the PTCL said the special cell of the company had sorted out cases of those candidates who had filed their candidatures, supported by affidavits that they did not have any PTCL dues in their names.

The PTCL has sent the list to the Election Commission and its district offices, requesting them to ensure either the candidates should clear their dues or their forms should not be accepted.

The list include: Khan Junejo and Shahnawaz Junejo (Rs11,74,210); Mrs Qanbar Leghari (Rs12,283), Mir Mumtaz Ali Talpur (Rs40,777); Pir Ghulam Rasool Shah (Rs27474); Mir Mumtaz Ali Talpur (Rs40,777); Pir Aslam Shah (Rs99,000); Hajira Sultana (Rs79618); Mir Mushtaque Talpur (Rs38265); Mir Jawad (Rs40777); Gul Hassan Zahid Samoon (Rs10,184); Mir Mohammad Khan (Rs15300); Shafqat Jabbar (Rs5910); Tasawar Jafri (Rs62083); Tauqeer Sultana (Rs10,401); Jam Noor Mohammad (Rs202641) and Syed Naveed Qamar Zaman Shah (Rs9555).
