KARACHI Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna crashed out of the Legg Mason Classic ATP Tournament in Washington DC on Saturday.

After beating second-seeded Mark and Bob Bryan in the quarterfinal, Pakistan's Qureshi and India's Bopanna lost to Mardy Fish (US) and Mark Knowles (Bahamas) 7-5, 7-5 in a closely-contested semifinal.

The Indo-Pak pair's ace count was very low (2) in the match as compared to those in their quarterfinal against the Bryans (17).

This was Qureshi and Bopanna's second tournament in the United States ahead of the US Open, which starts in New York from August 30.
