HYDERABAD, Aug 25: The Market police on Sunday arrested a boy, Abu Bakar, who had criminally assaulted a girl on Friday night.

The girl has been admitted to the civil hospital’s gynaecology ward. Her external medical examination was conducted by medico-legal officer Dr Shazia.

The girl, daughter of R, resident of Pathan Colony, had gone missing on Friday and was found near Barrage Colony.

It was later known that she was sexually assaulted by the boy who worked at a bakery in Pathan Colony.

The medical report has not been issued so far.

DROWNED: The bodies of two unidentified persons, who had drowned in Line Channel on Sunday, have been fished out, the Pinyari police said.

The bodies were kept in the mortuary of the Hyderabad Civil Hospital.
