KARACHI, June 15 Hyder abad beat Karachi 12-11 to win the women's netball event at the 13th Sindh Games at the NED University courts here on Tuesday.

Qurat-ul-Ain of Hyderabad and Umama Qadri of Karachi remained outstanding with nine goals each.

Mirpurkhas beat Sukkur 5-0 to secure the third position.

Syed Sagheer Hussain Zaidi, the chief guest at the closing ceremony, distributed the prizes among the teams and players.

In women's throwball, Karachi beat Hyderabad by 2-0 sets to win the event while Sukkur beat Larkana by 2-0 sets to end up third.

The women's handball event was won by Hyderabad who beat Karachi 11-4. Sukkur came third.
